As of today, the Radio Chiguiro site has been rebooted to host new sounds. I will be giving a podcasting workshop in the next ISEA in Albuquerque, NM. The old files can be still be listened through the "archives" section.

10 years of temporary services - Audio relay is going back home
Our
88.9 FM broadcast will end tonight after our Terrorista Tuesday show.
Thanks for your support. we will continue with the web broadcast and a
shorter range radio transmitter that will not cover the same as the
Audio Relay. Thanks to Temporary services for lending such a great tool
for broadcast. This coming friday we will be celebrating in Chicago

RADIO CHIGUIRO IN LUGAR A DUDAS
The Radio Chiguiro Studios will move to Lugar a Dudas,
in Cali, Colombia during the month of june. There will be a lot of
activities including MINI FM radio workshops, events, talks, movies,
zines and file sharing! Broadcast from Lafayette will be stopped on May
27 and there will be no web stream for a couple of weeks meanwhile we
setup in Cali.

Cutting the live stream for a few days
We're
moving the Radio Chiguiro studios to a new place and won't be able to
broadcast online from Wednesday to Friday on this week. We got kicked
out of our place like dogs, but that's what we are: very angry dogs!! The stream will continue normally after that. Thanks for your patience and keep tuned. 88.9 FM Broadcast won't be interrupted.

Audio Relay in Lafayette
Please join us at 527 Main Street in
Lafayette, Indiana on Saturday, March 25 from 9 pm to midnight for
Lafayette’s inaugural broadcast via the autonomous radio station Audio
Relay, which was designed and built by Chicago’s Brennan McGaffey for
Temporary Services.
This event is open to the public, which is encouraged to bring:
Any sounds you have made and would like to broadcast An FM radio – to receive and amplify the local area broadcast CDs – if you would like to trade sounds with others and burn CDs
On FM 88.9, the Audio Relay will send the sounds of local artists over the airwaves and into a small area of Lafayette.
The
following days will feature non-commercial sounds by artists from
Europe and the USA, broadcast intermittently from different parts of
Greater Lafayette, always between 9 pm and 12 am. This is an attempt
to widen the scope of Lafayette’s local radio, which is currently
limited to classic rock, top ten pop charts, top ten classical music and
plenty of religion.
Broadcasts and information on this project can be found at www.radiochiguiro.unocerodos.org starting Monday, March 27.
